Projects with spices & exotic oils

Among the oils being produced are:
* Organic Clove bud & stem oils
* Organic Cinnamon leaf & bark oils
* Organic Vanilla extracts & oleoresins
* Organic Niaouli oil
* Organic Tamanu Oil
The project has worked to create a co-operative of farmers. It has helped them with the problem of distilling their oils, as steam distillation units are very expensive, so a mobile still was organised so that each farmer could rent the still when they needed it without having to buy a unit of their own.
This enables many farmers to produce the essential oils, which they were not able to do before, and therefore receive the full wage from their crop, rather than the much lower price for the raw plant material.
